The Coastline Roof Protection Program (CL RPP) provides facilities owners a much needed supplement to manufacturer’s roofing system warranties. Warranties that typically don’t provide protection against conditions, that can result in interior leakage and they have no provision for preventive maintenance of roofing assemblies. Manufacturer’s warranties become potentially effective only when the roof actively leaks. There’s nothing that prevents leakage or provides for corrective action to all roof assembly components affected by leakage.
Twice a year, an experienced roof auditor inspector actually walks the roof Twice areas covered by the CL RPP, he conducts a visual audit and an informal non-destructive survey of the roof(s).
The inspector provides a written report and pictures of existing roof conditions. All routine maintenance required will be noted for corrective action. If wind, lightning, other maintenance contractors, and/or facility maintenance personnel have damaged the roofing assembly, Coastline Engineering & Maintenance Inc. will provide a written report with a repair proposal, for the cost to repair such damage.
Following each roof walk audit, a maintenance crew will be dispatched to the facility to perform included routine maintenance to the roofing assemblies.
If a repair proposal is needed and accepted by a facility representative, the Coastline Roof Maintenance Technicians will complete repairs to the damaged roof areas during the time of routine maintenance work saving time and money.
